What species of fish do you shoot?
Well there are many different kinds of fish that we shoot. Different areas of the
country have different fish. In Tennessee and Alabama where I bow fish the
majority of the time the most common fish we shoot are Common carp, Grass
Carp, Buffalo, Gar and Catfish.
Is bow fishing legal?
Yes bow fishing is perfectly legal as long as you have the proper fishing licence.
Different states have different laws on bow fishing. Most all states only require,
a regular fishing licence in order to bow fish.
How do you see the fish?
Well most people will bow fish at night time and use generators to power high
powered lights attached to the front of they're boat and you normally travel in
shallow waters.
Isn't bow fishing cruelty?
Not at all. But everyone has they're own opinion. The fish we shoot are what is
known as "TRASH" fish. These fish destroy the game fish habitats so it makes
it hard for people to catch game fish such as Largemouth Bass. We pretty much
keep the population of these trash fish under control. During tournaments the
fish that are shot, are taken to a plant that makes dog and cat food, ladies
makeup and other useful things!!
